18. Acknowledgements

The charter model presented in this protocol owes its frame to centuries of practical evolution in human organisational design — to the inheritances of role, delegation, escalation, and audit that long predate any of the technologies the protocol intends to govern. The protocol’s contribution is to render these inheritances machine-readable; the inheritances themselves are the work of generations.
